If you are a newly appointed data collector or a clinician wanting to know more about the ANZICS Adult Patient Database, please join us for this informative seminar. 

 

  • An introduction to the ANZICS Clinical Quality Registry
  • An overview of the Australian and New Zealand Risk of Death (ANZROD) model and registry benchmarking process.
  • A summary of the Outlier Management Process
  • The adult COMET and CORE Portal Reports
  • An introduction to the ‘Adult Patient Data Dictionary’ and the rules of data coding.
  • Data coding exercises

 

Time: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm (Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start time)

 

Venue: Seminar Room, College of Intensive Care Medicine (CICM) of Australia and New Zealand, Level 2, 101 High St Prahran, 3181 (Enter via 2 Porter St).

 

Please note, that parking is limited to 1-2 hour street parking.  The venue is a 2 minute walk from Prahran train station via Porter Street.

 

Cost: $60 (inclusive of GST)

Registrations will be accepted up to the advertised event registration date, subject to availability. Late enrolments will be considered on an individual basis, subject to availability. Please contact ANZICS directly. All program fees are fixed and inclusive of GST. ANZICS reserves the right to review and change event fees. Cancellation or first deferment advised in writing no less than 7 working days prior to the scheduled event date, will not incur a financial penalty. Cancellations will be offered an alternative event date to attend (subject to availability), or a full refund. Cancellations received less than 7 working days will incur a $12 administration fee. A refund will not be granted if a registrant fails to attend. ANZICS reserves the right to cancel a planned education event even at short notice. In this case, all event fees will be refunded. If, for reasons beyond the control of ANZICS, we accept no responsibility for loss of monies incurred by delay or cancellation. Prior to enrolment, it is the registrants’ responsibility to read the education event description to ensure their own training suitability for the program and to meet the necessary training prerequisites. ANZICS reserves the right to ask a registrant to leave a education program if they are deemed not suitable to attend. The registrant will be granted a full refund minus a $12 administration fee. ANZICS requests support of this policy which is designed to protect the registrants’ investment and maintain the education program quality. When attending education events at ANZICS, all delegates will be required to abide by the site rules and regulations. For events delivered at external locations, both registrants and representatives of ANZICS are required to abide by the site rules and regulations pertaining to the external facility provider.
